Fire Safety in the Workplace

If you are an employer, you will be responsible for fire safety, you are known as "the responsible person", if there’s more than one responsible person, you have to work together to meet your responsibilities within the fire safety regulations (or the RRO 2005), failure to do so can lead to a fine or in extreme circumstances a prison sentance. At Bells and Two Tones we can advise you on every aspect of fire safety and keep you on the right side of the law.

Did you know that as the responsible person you must:

  • carry out a fire risk assessment of the premises and review it regularly

  • tell staff or their representatives about the risks you’ve identified

  • put in place, and maintain, appropriate fire safety measures

  • plan for an emergency

  • provide staff information, fire safety instruction and training

When you appoint Bells and Two Tones as the sole provider for your production or site we offer several benefits that save you money, one of the benefits is free training for your staff, please feel free to contact us and discuss your needs.

We know time is money, this is why we come to you for all your staff training, with us your staff have no travel costs or days away for training. Everything can be done at your location within a few hours.

We incorporate the latest technology in fire training meaning your staff can be trained in their place of work negating the need to practice their firefighting skills in a cold wet outdoor space.

The law requires all members of your staff to undergo fire awareness training. At Bells and Two Tones we can advise you and deliver training whatever your needs. We have a vast network within the UK so your location is no problem to us.
