Water Carriers & Bowsers
At Bells & Two-Tones we have several water carriers and water bowsers, with capacities ranging from 10,000 litres (2200 gallons) to 20,000 litres (4400 gallons). They are all fitted with a light portable fire pump, and in some cases, 2 pumps. In addition, they all have a hosereel fitted and 'in lockers' carry 10 x 70mm / 45mm fire hose and ancillary equipment.
All water tanks are made of stainless steel, so there is no risk of contamination from corrosion and some are insulated tanks making them ideal for when keeping the water hot is required.
These vehicles have the capability to wet down a road or location whilst on the move, with the pump being controlled by an operator on the rear platform. With the added ability to transfer the total tank contents in less than 6 minutes, these vehicles are perfect for replenishing static water supplies or supplying overhead rain rigs.
Above all water carrier equipment is essential when at remote locations providing the correct water supply for fire safety purposes.
